What Makes Our School Unique?
Harpeth Valley School has played an integral role in the community life of Bellevue since 1939.The continued support of parents, community leaders, and local businesses has helped Harpeth Valley make the transition from its small, rural beginnings to its new role as a K-4 suburban school. The new building, completed in 1996, includes a state-of-the-art media center and lab, art and music rooms, science lab, gymnasium, and serves more than 700 students.
Our academic focus is grounded in the district's mission statement," the mission of Harpeth Valley Elementary is to provide all students with a safe and positive environment to reach or surpass benchmark scores through standards-based assessment”. Our mission statement is proudly posted in every classroom and is stated everyday by the Principal during opening announcements. "The vision of Harpeth Valley is to be the top performing elementary school in the state of Tennessee”.
We think Harpeth Valley School is a great place to work and learn!
